PURPOSE OF PROGRAM
The primary purposes of the program
are to:
- Provide the student with
instruction on how to perform safe, basic nursing assistant
procedures in health/home care settings
- Prepare the student for employment
in the heath/home care setting.
Upon satisfactory complication of the
program, the student is eligible to take the state certification
examination.
PHILOSOPHY OF PROGRAM
It is the right of every client to
receive quality nursing assistant care from trained personnel. The
student acquires such knowledge and skills through planned classroom
theory/lab instruction and on the-job training.
