Wallace Community College Selma connected students with university representatives Tuesday, November 3, 2026, during its College Transfer Fair in the James M. Mitchell Student Center Building.
Held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the fair offered students an opportunity to explore bachelor's degree programs, ask questions about transferring, and learn about options for continuing their education at a four-year institution.
The event was open to all WCCS students, including those preparing to graduate and those beginning to consider their next academic step. No registration was required.
Conversations about the next step
Across the student center, students visited information tables, collected materials, and spoke directly with representatives about their educational interests. The fair brought multiple institutions together in one location, giving students a chance to compare options, and begin building connections.

Students could ask about transfer admission requirements, application processes, scholarships, financial aid, student life, and support services. Those conversations were intended to help students make informed decisions and plan a smooth transition to a four-year university.

Possibilities beyond graduation
Shuntelra Logan-Rudolph, Enrollment & Advisor Coordinator and College and Transfer Fair Coordinator, emphasized the importance of helping students envision what comes after WCCS.
"As an Academic Advisor, one of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping students see what is possible beyond graduation. The Transfer College Fair gives our students the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with university representatives, explore their options, and take the next step toward achieving their educational and career goals. We want every student to leave knowing that their journey does not end at WCCS, it continues with endless possibilities."

Planning a path forward
The fair placed transfer resources within reach and gave students space to consider how different programs could support their educational and career goals. For students still exploring their options, meeting representatives offered a starting point for future questions and planning.
By connecting students with opportunities beyond their community college experience, WCCS continued its commitment to Building Pathways. Creating Opportunities. Changing Lives.
