SELMA -Sheronda Armstrong is the new Best Buy Teen Tech Center Coordinator on the campus of Wallace Community College Selma. Armstrong, a native of Selma, is a graduate of Dallas County High School and holds degrees from Wallace Community College Selma and Auburn University at Montgomery. She brings a combination of unique skills and competencies to her new role which have been developed through a lengthy and rewarding career.
Armstrong previously served as the Senior Program Coordinator, Center of Hope Coordinator, Research Associate, Director of Educational Services, Director and Assistant Director of the St. Edmund Learning Center for the Edmundite Missions. Prior to that, she served as the Coordinator of Information Services for the Selma Dallas County Public Library.
"The Teen Center will provide teach access, training, and mentorship to young people in our community and surrounding counties," said Armstrong. "The goal is for the teens to utilize this space to make their dreams come true and express their creativity.
The Best Buy Teen Tech Center summer hours are Monday through Thursday8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
