Policy/Purpose: 

It is the policy of Wallace Community College – Selma (WCCS) to comply with theFiscal Procedures Manualfor the Alabama Community College System (ACCS). This manual is used by all institutions. The Chancellor will revise and maintain the manual as needed to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), good business practices, Board policy, and applicable laws. 
 

Scope: 

This policy applies to all WCCS students and employees during any activity involving the College, including the workday. In addition, visitors, vendors, contractors, and all other non-employees are expected to recognize and comply with college policies.
 

Definitions: 

GAAP: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
