Aviation Summer Camp

Ready for four days of adventure? At Aviation Summer Camp, you’ll dive into all things aviation — from flying drones to exploring flight simulators. You’ll take field trips to awesome places that focus on aviation, such as the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Airbus, the Tuskegee Airmen Museum, and Auburn University’s Aviation programs.

Cybersecurity Summer Camp

Wallace Community College Selma will be offering a cybersecurity summer camp for middle and high school students in Workforce Regions 3 and 5. The estimated dates are June 8 – 12, 2026, for the basic camp and June 15 – 19, 2026, for the advanced camp. These cybersecurity camps are designed to introduce students to and spark their interest in cybersecurity, a high-wage, high-demand field. Through this STEM-related project, students will develop their digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The camps will consist of an exploration of the career opportunities in cybersecurity, a presentation about WCCS’ Associate of Applied Science Computer Information Systems program, a guest speaker, an introduction to the basic concepts of cybersecurity, hands-on experiences with real-world cybersecurity challenges, and a cyber competition with peers.
