The Office Administration program prepares students for a career in a professional office environment. Upon completion, students will be prepared for careers as administrative assistants or accounting clerks. As the business office relies increasingly on technology, organizations need well-trained, capable individuals to ensure that daily tasks are handled efficiently and effectively. This program will build skills in computer applications, administrative procedures, and communications.

This career program is not designed for transfer although many of the courses are transferable to some senior institutions. Consult the catalog of the transfer institution and the Alabama Transfer Guide https://alabamatransfers.com/ for additional guidance, see the WCCS Business Administration advisors. Students must have a “C” average or better in all courses credited toward the degree and a 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all courses attempted at the College.

Degrees Offered:  Associated in Applied Science, Standard Certificate, Short-Term Certificate
